Bring back the deep, wet-look gloss — and protect it.
Our two-stage compound and premium marine wax service removes oxidation, water spots, and light scratches, then seals your gelcoat with a hydrophobic wax that repels salt, UV, and grime.
What this service is really about.
South Florida sun, salt spray, and hard water leave gelcoat chalky, dull, and vulnerable. A proper compound-and-wax service does two things at once: it corrects the paint or gelcoat surface, and it protects it. We machine-compound with marine-grade abrasives to level oxidation and micro-scratches, refine the finish, and lay down a premium carnauba/polymer hybrid wax that beads water for months.
Every boat is different — 20-year-old chalky fiberglass needs more cuts than a 2-year-old hull. We assess your gelcoat's condition on site and dial in the right combination of compound, polish, and wax so you get maximum clarity without unnecessary abrasion.
Real results — from a real crew.

Common questions.
How long does a compound and wax last?
In South Florida sun and salt, expect 3–6 months of hydrophobic protection depending on use, storage, and exposure. Covered slips extend that window.
Will compounding damage my gelcoat?
No — we use marine-specific compounds and dual-action polishers, removing only the minimum needed to correct oxidation. Your gelcoat stays healthy for many future cycles.
Can this fix heavy chalking or is ceramic better?
For heavily oxidized gelcoat, a compound + wax is usually the right first step. If you want multi-year protection afterward, we also offer ceramic coatings.
